Happy Me

Supporting social and emotional wellbeing through play.

Happy Me, Myself and My Community curriculum nurtures children's emotional wellbeing, confidence, independence and social skills while celebrating each child's unique identity, family, language and culture.

Our Aim (s)

Every child to leave Happy Hoglets with a strong sense of who they are, confidence in their abilities, respect for others, and a deep sense of belonging. We want every child to know that they are valued, their voice matters, and they have the confidence, skills and curiosity to make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world.

Happy Discoveries

Exploring nature and understanding the world around us.

Children are naturally curious explorers.

Happy Discoveries encourages children to investigate, question, observe and understand the world around them.

Our Aim
To nurture curious minds that enjoy discovering how the world works.

Happy Creators

Happy Thinkers

Sparking imagination through art, music, and dance.

Creativity allows children to express who they are.

At Happy Hoglets, children are encouraged to imagine, experiment and create without fear of making mistakes.

Our Aim
To inspire children to become creative thinkers who are confident expressing themselves.

Developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Children develop their thinking skills through exploration, play and meaningful experiences.

Happy Thinkers supports children to develop the foundations for future learning.

Our Aim
To develop confident learners who enjoy thinking, exploring and solving problems.

At Happy Hoglets, children don’t learn in separate lessons. Our six Happy Hoglets Learning Worlds work together through real-life, play-based experiences, so every moment of their day supports wellbeing, language, creativity, curiosity, thinking and physical development.

Together, they bring the seven areas of learning and development in the EYFS to life through meaningful play, relationships, exploration and discovery.

Our Happy Hoglets Six Learning Worlds

Happy Talk

Encouraging multilingual communication and confidence.

At Happy Hoglets, we create a language-rich environment where children are encouraged to listen, talk, ask questions, share ideas and develop confidence in expressing themselves.

Families are invited to share stories, songs and traditions, helping children develop respect for diversity and a sense of global citizenship.

Our Aim
To develop confident communicators who appreciate the richness of languages and cultures.

Happy Body

Promoting physical development and healthy habits.

Happy Body supports children to develop physical confidence, coordination and positive habits for lifelong wellbeing.

Our Aim
To help children understand that caring for their bodies and wellbeing is an important part of growing and learning.
